AVEC Expands Xylia Buros’ Role to Director of Business Development
AVEC is pleased to share that Xylia Buros is stepping into the role of Director of Business Development. Xylia has been a key part of AVEC’s marketing team, working closely with our clients to clarify their messaging, strengthen their positioning, and build marketing systems that support real growth. She brings a thoughtful, practical approach to the work—grounded in a clear understanding of how architecture and design firms actually operate.
In her newly expanded role, Xylia will continue working directly with her existing clients, maintaining the relationships and momentum they’ve built together, while also leading AVEC’s business development efforts. She will focus on building new relationships and helping prospective clients understand where AVEC can make a meaningful impact.
“She’s deeply invested in the success of the firms she works with, and that carries through in everything she does. ”
This shift reflects how we think about business development at AVEC. It’s not separate from the work it grows out of it. The same clarity, trust, and follow-through that define our client relationships are what drive our growth as a firm. “Xylia brings a level of energy and care to her work that clients feel right away,” said Emily Hall, President of AVEC. “She’s deeply invested in the success of the firms she works with, and that carries through in everything she does. We’re excited to see her step into this expanded role and help more firms experience that same partnership.”
Xylia’s ability to connect strategy with day-to-day execution makes her well suited for this role. She understands both the challenges firm leaders face and the kind of support that actually helps.
“The most meaningful part of this work has always been the relationships — getting to understand how different firms operate and where they want to go. I’m looking forward to expanding that, connecting with new teams, and helping more firms turn that clarity into real momentum.”
Please join us in congratulating Xylia on this next step!
